Comments: On a recent need for tire repair our driver was directed to TTT tire shop.After driver explained what was expected as a puncture of the inside rear drive axle tire,the tire expert removed first the outer tire and examined it before proceeding to the flat inner tire.The driver watched as the tire was repaired and went into the office to pay for the flat repair.
Shortly after being in the office,the driver was aske to go back out to the truck where the tire repair people showed the driver a nail that was in the outer (non flat) tire.This tire was inspected when it was first removed,and there was no nail in it then.
It is believed that this new nail was put into the tire so that the TTT people could get an added $50.00 for repairing
