Service was good but the food was horrible!!! Mushroom soup was a little more than warm milk barely thickened with a few mushrooms in it AND HAD NO TASTE. I couldn't stand it. Then got a bowl of vegetable beef. It taste like a little beef gravy mix with uncooked potato chunks and uncooked green beans. Then I got the chicken fingers. One of them was raw in the middle. The french fries taste like they haven't changed the frying grease for a week. Service was OK, and I was going to say something to the manager but we just wanted to get back on the road and get home. I WON'T STOP AGAIN. A few years ago the food was great there. Like I said, I WILL NOT BE BACK. Perosnally I think that the owner or manager needs to revamp his employess and make the necessary employee changes where they are due, before the establishment looses more customers than they already have due to lack of curteous prompt service.I know for a fact that the next time we are in the area we WILL NOT be stopping there. If anyone else is considering stopping at said establishment for a meal, be prepared to wait... AT LEAST FOR A WHILE. We arrived at 9:30 am and never left until pushing 11. SINCE when does it take over a hour to make 2 breakfast orders , especially one consisng of 3 pancakes? Oh... btw... the establishment does have special going on that if you order one thing off the menu and you are still hungry, you can order the second helping of whatever you ordered the first time at no additional cost to you, if you are willing to WAIT. |
